Saqaliba (Arabic: صقالبة, romanized: ṣaqāliba, singular Arabic: صقلبي, romanized: ṣaqlabī)[nb 1] is a term used in medieval Arabic sources to refer to Slavs, and other peoples of Central, Southern, and Eastern Europe. The term originates from the Middle Greek slavos/sklavenos (Slav), which in Hispano-Arabic came to designate first Slavic slaves and then, similarly to the semantic development of the term in other West-European languages, foreign slaves in general.[2] The word was often used to refer specifically to Slavic slaves, but it could also refer more broadly to Central, Southern, and Eastern Europeans traded by the Arab traders, as well as all European slaves in some Muslim regions like Spain and Portugal including those abducted from raids on Christian kingdoms of Spain and Portugal.[3][4] According to Sudár and B. Szabó, the word Saqaliba means 'forest dweller', regardless of ethnicity.[5]

Hungarians are Turks of Europe. They are originally Muslims. When Hungarians came to Europe as a tribe of Turks they were muslim. In past it were Hungarians that assisted slave Christian trade into Ottoman empire. Hungarians should know who they really are. The true religion of Hungarians is Islam, though being surrounded by Orthodox european Christians it was hard for Hungarians to stay Muslim.

Alhamdulillah it's nice to see, especially that the women's area is well set out and they have nicer bathrooms than the men section. Often the opposite is the case in the UK where women's area is small, dark, not good space for children's needs (baby change) etc. Insha Allah each generation can improve these things. The proper Masjid will bring many benefits, and as the Centre point for the Muslim communities other than worship, as well to organise their affairs, set up business connections and outreach to the community, fund raising, establish connections with other European Masjids and organisations, and may be entitled for a government running funds as other communities and minorities...etc
